Apple's Rosetta 2 Countdown: Plugins and DAWs in Danger

In a bold move, Apple has announced that macOS 27 Golden Gate will signal the end of Rosetta 2, leaving millions of music makers scrambling to update their plugins. The transition is set for fall 2027, when over 18,800 Intel-only Mac apps - many of which are audio plugins - will be put out of commission.
