Grammys Get Wilder, Welcome New Wave of Awards

The Recording Academy is shaking things up by adding five new categories to the 2027 Grammys. Best Asian Pop Music Performance and Best Traditional Folk Album join a revamped R&B Collaboration or Duo/Group Performance category. Meanwhile, the Best New Artist eligibility rules are being loosened, allowing artists to be entered into the pool four times before being disqualified.
