Linkin Park Makes History at Download Festival

The band's return to the stage was a momentous occasion, as they became the first female-fronted act to headline Download Festival in history. Linkin Park closed out the festival last night, marking a UK exclusive for the band who hadn't performed here since 2014. The headlining set came nine years after the passing of Chester Bennington, and seven years on from their reunion with new vocalist Emily Armstrong.
