Jimi Hendrix Way Unveiled in NYC's Greenwich Village

A street sign bearing Jimi Hendrix's name has been unveiled in New York City's Greenwich Village, a nod to the legendary musician's time spent in the neighborhood. This honor comes at the culmination of a decade-long effort by local residents and preservationists to recognize Hendrix's impact on the area. The newly minted Jimi Hendrix Way is situated near Electric Lady Studios, where Hendrix set up his personal recording space in the 1960s.
